Asante Kotoko defender Empem Dacosta has revealed that he would be open to taking part of his salary due to the magnitude of impact Coronavirus has made on football.
Kotoko were in good form before the suspension of the league, placing 4th.
Dacosta couldn't command a starting place in the Kotoko team in the first round of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
In an interview with Royal FM, Dacosta announced his openness to the salary reduction scheme.
“If there is no work going on in the whole world and the management come to me and say that they will pay me part of my salary because things are not going on well, I will accept it. We have a professional contract but this is a special case so there will be no crime in that.”
