Council 48, Accra West, defeated Council 37, Tema, 4-1 on penalties in the soccer finals to win this year's Greater Accra Regional Knights and Ladies of Marshall Inter-Council and Court Fun Games held at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, both teams resumed the second session with determination but tried as they did, non-could hit the back of the net. During the penalty shoot-outs, Council 48, converted four of their kicks while Council 37 could only managed with one.
In the other games, Council 71 won the tag-of-war with a two straight victory over Council 10 while Court 63 lifted the "Ampe" trophy. Seven Councils and seven Courts took part in the one-day games, which aimed among other things to strengthen the existing cordial relationship between them.
Sir Brother T. K. Quist, Past Supreme knight and Supreme Youth Co-ordinator of the association urged them to let unity be their watchword and fight for a common goal.
