DC dismisses FA Cup protest by K Dom FC

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has dismissed a protest by K Dom FC against Elmina Sharks following their match in the FA Cup.

K Dom FC after losing the Round of 64 fixture 0-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in normal time on January 19, filed a protest claiming that their opponents fielded two unqualified players, Eric Atuaful and Amos Korankye in the match.


The DC has ruled that they have no cause to doubt the authencity of the registration of both player by Elmina Sharks as K Dom FC failed to provide evidence to back their case.

"In the light of the above, the protest by K Dom FC is dismissed as being without merit," a statement by the Disciplinary Committee read.
