Francis Dadzie is off the mark for his new club, the Ghanaian striker opening his North East United account in a 4-0 whitewash of Ethekwini Coastal United on Friday on their pre-season tour of South Africa.
Dadzie struck the third goal in the comprehensive victory over the South African lower league side, the second straight victory following a 3-1 win over Amazulu earlier in the week.
Dadzie who signed for North East from Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United last month, made his debut for the club in a 3-0 defeat to Premier Soccer League side, Maritzburg United in their first game in the African country.
The striker then offered an assist for the Indian Super League side's opening goal on the way to the victory over Amazulu before announcing his goal scoring potential to North East United fans against Ethekwini Coastal United.
Dadzie and his side are expected to play one more game before rounding their pre-season in South Africa on September 22.
The 2015/16 Indian Super League campaign kicks off on Saturday October 3 with North East United opening their season away to Kerala Blasters on Tuesday October 6.
