Ghana defender Daniel Opare tasted victory on his debut for his Besiktas JK as the Ataturk based club clinched a 3-1 triumph over Sariyer SK in Group F of the Turkish Cup on Thursday night.

The victory for Besiktas facilitated by goals from Necip Uysal, substitute Furkan Yaman and debutant Tolgay Arslan, means Opare’s club will remain in second place in Group F of the Turkish Cup after 5-match days, 4 points shy of pool leader Rizespor.
The 24-year-old signed a 6-month loan deal for Besiktas from Portuguese giants Porto last week.
