Defender David Addy played his first match for Ilves in their 1-1 draw with his former club RoPS in the Finnish Cup on Saturday.
The left back was handed starting role just days after arriving at the club.
Addy whipped in a well placed corner kick in the 57th minute which was headed into the net by Diogo Tomas for the opener.
But just after the hour mark, Matias Tamminen leveled for RoPS.
The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winner was substituted in the 75th minute but countryman Samuel Afum lasted the entire duration.
Defender Baba Mensah was not named in the match day squad.
