Dede scores again but Marseille draw

Marseille's second win of the season continued to prove elusive on Sunday, OM's Champions League goal hero André Ayew's third of the week only enough to take a point 1-1 at home to Brest.

Fresh from scoring a double in his side’s midweek Champions League win over Dortmund, Andre Ayew was hoping to power Marseille to just its second win of the season. He was able to get his third goal of the week, however, but not another win for his troubled side.

Ayew, whose exclusion from the Ghana squad to play Sudan and Nigeria has drawn indignation in the local media, only recently recovered from a groin injury sustained while on national duty last month in Accra.

Now that the French league is off for the international break, the midfielder would have to work harder to convince Ghana boss Goran Stevanovic on next month’s Fifa friendly dates
