Determination was key in Liberty win – Siaw

Okwahu United captain Prince Siaw admits determination as a key factor for their MTN FA Cup successes on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Mountaineers made it to the final of the MTN FA Cup for the first time since 2000 after eliminating premiership side Liberty Professionals on a 3-2 penalty shootouts.

"Everybody tipped Liberty Professionals to beat us hands down because they are a premier league side but our coach told us give them too much respect on the field," he said in a post-match interview.

"We were very determined prior to the game since we decided not to respect them because they are our seniors."
