Asamerik FC beats Super Stars

Cape Coast Asamerik FC played a spectacular game to beat Efutu Koforidua Super Stars 2-1 in their second division league match played at Efutu Koforidua on Sunday.

From the kick off, Super Stars started strongly and scored the opener through centre half, Kwame Appiah, in the 5th minute.

Undaunted by this early lead, Asamerik returned the attack and levelled up through right winger, Joe Yeboah, in the 33rd minute.

The second half, saw both teams struggling hard to carry the day but Asamerik soon had the edge and scored the match winner through Joe Yeboah in the 86th minute.
