Major League Soccer based Ghanaian attacker Dominic Oduro struck deep into extra time to deny New York City FC three points. The 31 year old levelled the scores for Impact after an opener from the host look set to keep the points at home.
The vastly experienced centre forward , who missed out on an earlier equalizer for NYCFC kept his cool to snatch his season opener 68 minutes into the tie. The nomad attacker ,who has played in the MLS for almost the entirety of his career stole the show on the night to split the points despite the territorial dominance from City.
Oduro recently inked a one year rolling contract with Impact as a reward for his long term contributions to the club.
