Former Hearts of Oak winger Bernard Don Bortey has cautioned AshGold and Asante Kotoko against laziness ahead of their CAF inter- competition campaign.
According to the ex-Black Stars attacker, playing in Africa is a different ball game all together so they should prepared well for the challenge.
Asante Kotoko are the only Ghanaian club representing in the Champions League while Ashantigold will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup. The Porcupine Warriors will set off their campaign against Kano Pillars from Nigeria.
The Miners also take on Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea in the first preliminary round.
Speaking on Nice TV, Don Bortey urged both clubs to take their preparations seriously.
“Playing in Africa is too hard and difficult both kotoko and Ashgold should very prepared well for the tournament” He stated.
