Mr Gyamfi Mensah, a citizen of Boabeng in the Nkoranza District who is based in Canada has donated two footballs and ?500,000 to the Nkoranzaman United Football Club.
Mr Gyamfi Mensah, a citizen of Boabeng in the Nkoranza District who is based in Canada has donated two footballs and ?500,000 to the Nkoranzaman United Football Club. Mr Daniel Kwaku Akowuah, an elder of Boabeng who presented the items on behalf of Mr Mensah urged players of the club to redouble their efforts to achieve laurels for themselves and the area.He advised them to take their training sessions seriously "since the sport is now a lucrative profession". Mr Akowuah appealed to them to avoid the use of drugs as well as indulging in sexual practices which could make them contract HIV/AIDS. Mr Owusu Baffoe, Chairman of the Club expressed appreciation to Mr Mensah for the gesture and called on others to assist in promoting sporting activities in the area.
