.. Boakye, Otto Addo, Pimpong, Agyeman in line
The head coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars is expected to name his team for the friendly against Mexico on March 1 in a few days time.
Following the inability of the most of the players to impress in the just ended cup of nations in Egypt, many Ghanaians are waiting to see the players who will be part of the Black Stars as they begin preparation ahead of the world cup scheduled for June in Germany.
Space FM?s investigation has revealed that German-based striker Isaac Boakye, midfielder Otto Addo, Razak Pimpong of Denmark and Patrick Agyeman(pictured) who plays in the Coca-Cola championship in England may be invited into the team, which would include the likes of Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan and Sule Muntari, who all missed the just-ended CAN 2006
Isaac Boakye and Otto Addo both play in the German Bundesliga and are enjoying a very wonderful season for Arminia Bielefeld and FC Mainz respectively.
Razak Pimpong also had a very good season in the just ended Danish League for Midjiland FC before joining FC Copenhagen whiles Patrick Agyeman has been consistent for championship side Preston North End.
Ratomir Dujkovic has also called on Ghanaians not to discourage the young players who were part of the stars squad in Egypt. He said the players need to be encouraged to play and mature to become assets for the nation in future.
In another development the friendly against Mexico is said to have hit a snag as officials battle to secure traveling visas for the expected contingent.
