Ghana coach Avram Grant has handed youngsters Alfred Duncan and Ebenezer Assifuah places in his starting line up to face Mozambique on Sunday in the return leg of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Impressive Leicester City midfielder Jeffery Schlupp also gets a rare place in the starting line up while returnee goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey stays on the bench of the match in Maputo.

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu also returns to the starting line-up as he gets a place the midfield after being dropped to the bench of the first leg clash.

The Israeli manager has been forced to make the changes to his starting line up thanks to injuries to Christian Atsu, Mubarak Wakaso and Frank Acheampong.

Badu returns to the Ghana starting lineup because of the absence of Wakaso, and he is expected to play right behind the strikers.

Afriyie Acquah will play in central midfield just before the defenders with Duncan playing in the right side of midfield where Atsu operates.

Schlupp takes Acheampong's in the left side of midfield with Jordan Ayew and Assiufuah operating as attackers in the game in a 4-4-2 formation which can also be switched to the 4-3-3 formation.

Assifuah has benefited from the dropping of Waris to the bench.

Grant opted to stick with Razak Brimah as his first-choice goalkeeper despite the return of Adam Kwarasey, who was expected to give competition to the Spain-based shot-stopper.

Harrison Afful will play from the right side of defence with Chelsea ace Baba Rahman playing in the opposite direction.

The strong central defensive partnership between John Boye and Jonathan Mensah has been maintained for the match against the Mambas.

The Black Stars will be seeking to unlock the Mozambican defence and extend their lead at the top of Group H to 12 points after beating the same opposition on Thursday in Accra.
