Cape Coast May 26, GNA - The Board of Directors of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs on Wednesday said it had accepted the resignation of the management of the Club.
Mr Jonas Commey is the head of the management. The Board has therefore appointed Mr Kwamena Essilfie Agyei, an Accra-based economist to run the affairs of the Club until a new management is put in place.
The management of the Club tendered in their resignation last month following a misunderstanding between it and the supporters' task force. At a meeting in Cape Coast, the Chairman of the Board, Nana Brew Butler commended the former management for working tirelessly to bring the Club up to the Premier division.
He said that the Club can only survive when there is unity and appealed to both supporters and management to let "sleeping dogs lie", and ensure that they contribute their quota towards the development of the Club.
Nana Butler said although the Club recognizes the role of supporters that should not make them to interfere in the affairs of the management. He said that plans were far advanced to float shares for the Club to generate more funds for its administration and asked the supporters to buy some of the shares when the programme takes off.
