Dwarfs demand transfer fee from Arsenals

Cape Coast , Sept 14, GNA - The management of Cape Coast Dwarfs Babies FC has threatened to take court action against Berekum Arsenals FC for refusing to pay 15 percent development fee in respect of their player John Paintsil who was released to the club in 2000.

According to Mr Anthony Korankye, Secretary of the club, since the player was released to the club two years ago the management of Arsenals has failed to approach Dwarfs Babies to settle its commitment in respect of the transfer of the player.

It has also without reference to the club entered into a transfer agreement with Liberty Professionals FC.

Mr Korankye said if the management of Arsenal failed to approach the club within two weeks his club will resort to legal process for redress.
