Cape Coast, Jan. 8, GNA - A classic goal scored by Sheriff Dini in the 89th minute enabled Cape coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs to hold their local rivals, Venomous Vipers to a 2-2 draw in their Division One league match played at Robert Mensah stadium at the week-end. Vipers smarting in their new orange jersey against their traditional yellow and black Jersey outplayed Dwarfs in the first half and got the opener through midfielder Anthony Davies in the 37th minute. Davies, popularly known as 91Mosquito', after collecting a pass from the right flank, dribbled the entire defence of Dwarfs before chipping the ball into the net.

Dwarfs repulsed the attack but their forwards found it difficult to break the tight defence of Vipers. Back from recess, Dwarfs came back strongly to level up the scores through inside right, Jojo Amporful in the 57th minute amid cheers from their supporters.

The cheers that greeted the equalizer had scarcely died down when outside right Alex Neequauye raised the tally to 2-1 in the 59th minute. Referee B.R Biney from Accra who handled the match gave the marching off orders to Dwarfs Labaran Mush in the 75th minute and Samuel Aryitey in the 80th minute for a second bookable offence. Dwarfs, playing with nine men, matched their opponents boot for boot and when all things pointed to a victory for Vipers, Dini in solo effort scored the equalizer to bring back the smiles of the supporters of Dwarfs.
