Cape Coast, July 6, GNA - Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs continued their winning spree when they whipped Sekondi Metro Stars 2-0 in their Division One League match played at the Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast on Sunday.
Dwarfs who were determined to carry the day made victory certain by scoring both goals in the first half.
From the onset, Dwarfs dictated the pace of the game and were rewarded for their efforts when outside left, Bismarck Asiedu scored the opener in the 15th minute.
Their opponents took over the attack from the 20th minute and made several efforts to equalize but their hopes of finding the equalizer were dashed when Asiedu was on target again to score the second goal in the 40th minute through in a goalmouth melee to bring the goal tally to 2-0.
On resumption of play, both sides played a determined game but there were no further scores. Results of other matches were, Real Tarkwa United spanked Elmina Coconut Sharks 2-0, Starke beat Windy Professionals 2-1 with Feyenoored whipping Sekondi Westlandes 4-0
