Accra, Dec. 20, GNA - Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs and Sekondi Eleven Wise shared honours with a one-all drawn game on Monday in their Sub-Middle Zone Two League match played at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra.

Both teams who drew their respective first games and sold out an inspiring duel, saw the scanty supporters who thronged the arena cheering all afternoon, scoring all two goals in the first half. Dwarfs who had toppled their opponents twice during the just ended zonal league had to fight from a Saliu Issah's seventh minute strike to pick the point.

Issah's seventh minute goal which came against the run of play, was as a result of a melee that exposed the Dwarfs rear built around Arkifi Emmanuel.

Dwarfs haven dominated the first session managed to pull even through Ekow Aikins seven minutes later when he tore the Wise defence into shreds before blasting powerfully into the yawning net. The game was then reduced to a struggle for supremacy, when Dwarfs again gained another opportunity to shoot ahead when they had a penalty but they missed the golden opportunity of carrying the day to the chagrin of their supporters.

Dwarfs Mawuli Kofi who elected himself to take the kick brought the best out of goalkeeper Tetteh Engman who rose to duty to parry the ball into play on the 45th mark to end the first half. Both teams resumed play revitalized, but it was Wise who enjoyed the better part of play and although they exploited the vulnerability of their opponents back line, their attackers wasted all the fine opportunities created upfront.

Dwarfs had their fair share of the proceedings but the skilful Ekow Ghansa-led attack exhibited erratic shooting upfront on the few times they came close to scoring to end the day's exciting encounter.
