New Edubiase United will face Congolese side, Diables Noirs at the preliminary round of next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The identity of the opponent was revealed following the completion of the Congolese season last week.
Information gathered by GNA Sports from sources in Congo indicates that the Brazzaville-based club will sort things out with the Ghanaian debutants.
Diables Noirs, a familiar face in the continental club championships are eight-time winners of the Congolese league.
Edubiase will host the first leg on the weekend of 15-17 January before traveling to Brazzaville on the weekend of 1-3 March for the return encounter.
The winner will face either Panthers of Equatorial Guinea or FC Sequence of Guinea at the 1/16th round.
League champions, Asante Kotoko are scheduled to meet Sony El Nguema of Equatorial Guinea at the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
