Elche keen on Partey for season-long loan

Spanish La Liga side Elche FC are reportedly interested in signing Ghana youth midfielder Thomas Teye Partey on loan from giants Atletico Madrid, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 21-year-old has returned to the Vicente Calderon after ending his loan spell at Segunda side Real Mallorca and is training under Diego Simone.

Reports from Spain suggest Elche manager Fran Escribá wants to add the midfielder to his squad for the upcoming season.

However Atleti boss Simone wants to assess the progress of the former Tema Youth player and Ghana U20 triallist before announcing a decision on him.
