Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Elvis Manu marked his return from suspension by scoring his eighth goal of the season for Excelsior in a 1-1 draw with Helmond Sport in the Dutch second-tier on Friday.
The 21-year-old who is on loan from giants Feyenoord Rotterdam restored parity for the visitors after German international Sebastian Stachnik had scored in the 14th minute to open the scoring for the host.
Manu, who had his four match ban cut down to two last week, pecked the scoring for the struggling Excelsior in the 66th minute.
However, the 19-year-old’s disciplinary recorded was highlighted once more as he was booked in the 43rd minute.
He will miss next Monday’s tie against Emmen.
