Asante Kotoko winger, Emmanuel Gyamfi, remains hopeful of continuing the remarkable second round form when the face Inter Allies in week 22 of the Ghana Premier League at the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
The Porcupine Warriors recorded a resounding victory against Medeama last Sunday, as look a rejuvenated side under coach Steve Polack who has turned around the fortunes of the team as they currently lie third on the league standings after managing to accumulate 35 points.
According to Gyamfi, their clash against Inter Allies is of huge significance and represent a must win game if they are to keep their confidence in the second round.
“We know what is ahead of us so we won’t waste time on the Medeama victory. We’ve to quickly plan for Wednesday’s game against Inter Allies. It’s an important match. We must win to keep the confidence that the supporters have in us” Gyamfi told Asantekotokosc.com
“I want to assure our fans that, we will not disappoint them. They’ve to put behind them our past defeats to Hearts and Olympics in Accra. They should come massively so that together we can triumph over Inter Allies” he said.
