Enchi (W/R) March 17, GNA - Enchi Soccer Wise Professionals, second division campaigners on Sunday beat Sekondi Eleven Wise 2-1 in a friendly encounter at the Enchi Coronation Park.

Wise Professionals opened the scores in the 23rd minute through their hardworking striker, Samuel Afram in a one-two move with mid-fielder, Maxwell Asare.

The jubilation that followed the goal died soon after when just after three minutes later, Mohammed Tijani, playing at the inside left position levelled up for the visitors.

In the 40th minute, Fatau Hussein, central defender for Wise Professionals increased the tally for his side when he outran the defence of Eleven Wise and slotted the ball into the net. Eleven Wise resumed the second half with determination and dominated play for greater part of the half but they were prevented from finding the equalizer through a well compact defence pivoted around Kwasi Odum and Saviour Fiajoe.

After the match, Mr. Abdul Malik, secretary of Sekondi Eleven Wise told the GNA Sports that his team lost because they could not present a full squad due to " some managerial problems facing the club".

Mr. Ahmed Hassan, Wise Professional's coach said the management of club has arranged more friendly matches with some first division teams to prepare the team for the upcoming Middle League.

Enchi Soccer Wise Professionals are leading the Aowin-Amenfi Second Division zone league with 23 points.

Other teams participating in the league are Ridge Stars, Simple Winners, Manchester United, Great Amenfis, Gye Nyame Stars and Real Madrid.
