Ghana midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi will play part in the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League campaign after he helped his Malmo side go past Glasgow Celtic in the play-off.

Åge Hareide side managed to book their place in the Champions League Group stages for the second time in a row following thanks goals from Felipe and skipper Markus Rosengberg.

Rosenberg put Malmo ahead on away goals after their vital injury-time goal at Celtic Park last week.

Felipe Carvalho doubled the lead on the night in what was a deserved victory against a nervous-looking Celtic.

Former Celtic man Jo Inge Berget, proved to be a thorn in his former employers’ side once again, coming close to scoring his third goal of the tie inside the opening five minutes.

After cutting in from the left flank Berget unleashed a venomous right foot effort on goal, which flew just wide of the right post.

Felipe Carvalho scored the second goal after the break as Malmo make sure of their place in the Champions League group stage.

Craig Gordon, who earlier kept the Swedish side out with a series of stunning saves, stands defected after conceding a second.

Adu represented the Ghana national under-17 team at the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Korea Republic, and has since been knocking on the doors of the Black Stars.
