Striker Eric Bekoe wants to be an instant hit on his return to boyhood club Asante Kotoko.
The 24-year-old is set to finally seal his move to the Ghanaian champions after he was released by Egyptian side Petroject last week.
Bekoe’s career at Peroject was blighted by recurrent injuries which forced him to sit out for a year.
But after recovering fully from the problem, the former Heart of Lions man is determined to make an instant impact on his return to the country’s biggest club.
“I can say everything is fine now and now ready for the Kotoko challenge,” Bekoe said
“The chance for me to play for Kotoko again is a great honour and I am really looking forward to that,”
“We want to contribute our quota to help this great club make a huge impact next season. There is the League crown to defend and also Africa to conquer.”
Bekoe shot to prominence after he netted 17 times to win the Ghana Goal King Award in 2008.
