Michael Essien's agent insists the Chelsea midfielder will not leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The 28-year-old Ghana international has been linked with a move to Manchester City or Serie A, but his representative Fabien Piveteu says Essien is going nowhere after receiving reassurances from Bruce Buck.
Piveteu said: "He has spoken to the [Chelsea] chairman.
"He will stay at Chelsea next season, the club want him to stay and he will be there for the next four seasons.
"Lots of clubs are interested in Michael but the answer is the same - he is very happy at Chelsea.
"Everything is fine and everybody is happy about Michael's situation.
"Now he is looking forward to the future," he added to Goal.com.
Essien has already spent six seasons in west London after moving from Lyon for £24.4million in August 2005.
