Former Black Stars defender Francis Dickoh could not make the FC Midtjylland squad when they recorded a memorable 2-1 win over disillusioned Manchester United at the MCH Arena on Thursday night in the Uefa Europa League.

Elsewhere attacker Ebenezer Assifuah and former Liberty Professionals star came off the bench in the 24th minute to replace the injured Leo Lacroix at the Stade de Tourbillon as Swiss side FC Sion were beaten 2-1 visiting Portuguese outfit Sporting Braga. Braga took a 13th minute lead, Senegal forward Moussa Konate levelled for Sion but the Liga Sagres side stole the win midway through the second-half of the tie.
Meanwhile in Belgium, in-form winger Frank Acheampong shook off a minor injury problem to play full throttle for Anderlecht who managed a slender 1-0 win over Greek Super Lig outfit Olympiakos.
Senegalese star forward Kara Mbodji struck the only goal of the game for the Royal Club in the 67th minute.
In Germany defender Daniel Opare squeezed his way through the Augsburg squad for the game but the injury-prone full-back watched the entire action from the bench at the 30,000-capacity WWK Arena as the Fuggerstadter failed to upset the English side.
