Jordan Ayew will be looking to bounce back from defeat as his Aston Villa side go head-to-head at Selhurst Park on Saturday as to play Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The 23-year old, unlike his elder brother Andre, is yet to hit the back of the net for Tim Sherwood's side after playing all two Premier League games.

And ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace, Jordan told the club's official website: "Every team is tough here. Every game is exciting for the fans. But every game is a war - a real battle on the pitch."

"You have to fight with everything you have to pick up the right result. We are going there to win and we hope to do that."

"You have to be 200% each week as a team or you will get beaten in this division."

Jordan said he was happy with the progress he had made with team-mates, but is confident he will settle to life in England quickly.

"I have got a house and now it's about me moving in. I have been staying previously in a hotel," the Ghana international added.

"I plan on getting settled in there when I return from international duty. I am looking forward to that. The players have been fantastic - so helpful in making me feel at home."

"We are a good group, get on very well and look after each other. It's a very good environment."
