Ghana Premier League side All Stars were the biggest winners as the last 16 of the FA Cup hit top gear over the weekend.

Enos Kwame Adipah’s charges handed second tier outfit Mighty Royals a 6-0 hammering to book their place in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

Elsewhere in Nkawkaw, Okwawu United edged past Sekondi Hasaacas 5-4 on penalties, following a 1-1 score after normal time.

Elmina Sharks took full advantage of their home support at the Ndoum Stadium in Elmina to thrash True Democracy 4-1.

Real Tamale United, however, lost 1-0 at home to Bechem United.

In one of two games played on Saturday, Asante Kotoko emerged 5-3 victors on penalties over Storm Academy, the game having ended 1-1 after regulation time.

Liberty Professionals have a Bernard Arthur strike to thank for their 1-0 away triumph over Division One side Samatex in Samraboi.

And earlier on Friday, Wafa and Wa Rockets booked their places in the quarter-finals with 1-0 victories over Emmanuel FC and Asokwa Deportivo respectively.
