FIFA official arrives in Accra Today

Mr Sampson Kablan, FIFA Goal Programme Development Officer in Charge of West Africa, arrives in the country on Tuesday, for a three-day inspection tour at Ghana's Centre for Soccer Excellence at Prampram in the Greater Accra Region.

A statement issued by Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), said Mr Kablan would also visit Cape Coast, Kumasi and Koforidua where he is expected to meet government officials and soccer administrators and later an encounter with the media.

The FIFA Goal Programme is a development and assistance programme designed to realise the specific needs of national football associations.

The statement said Ghana's application for 400,000 dollars has been approved.
