Head coach of the national Ghana Under-17 men’s football team, Paa Kwesi Fabin is in no mood to relinquish the good chance of qualifying for the 2015 African Under-17 Championship in Niger.

The Black Starlets recorded an important 2-1 victory away in Yaounde a week ago ahead of the return game in Accra on Sunday.

Ernest Agyiri and Abass Issah were the goal scorers as Ghana raced into a two-nil lead before Martin Hongla helped the home side pull one back.

And though the head coach of Cameroon Under-17 side, Joseph Atangana, has sworn to beat the Starlets and qualify for the competition, Paa Kwesi thinks otherwise.

“For me and my team, it will be the same strategy, to go all out and win the game like we did in Cameroon. I have been telling my boys that they should not think the job has already been done, because we still have not qualified yet and have 90 more minutes to play”, Paa Kwesi told sportscrusader.com.

The Cameroonians are scheduled to arrive on Thursday for their match with the Black Starlets on Sunday, a move Paa Kwesi says cannot bother them.

“I hear they will arrive on Thursday and I believe that we are doing all we can in training to make sure that come Sunday, we win the match. Winning both legs of the qualifiers will further boost the morale of the boys, so we could care less about our opponents.”
