Faisal Boss Refuses To Testify

The job of the three-man committee set up by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to investigate allegations of bribery involving the Chairman of Berekum Arsenals and referee Mustapha Mohammed might not kick-start as the key witness has refused to give evidence.

Alhaji Grunsah, Chairman of King Faisal has refused to give evidence because according to him, he has been betrayed by the FA.

The Faisal Chairman who said he only acted as an informant is upset that the FA did not protect his identity but publicly invited him to testify before the committee.

Alhaji Yakubu the chairman of Arsenals is alleged to have tried inducing Kumasi based Referee Mustapha Mohammed with money to influence proceedings of their league match against Dawu Youngsters.

The allegation came days after the GFA had called a meeting to address the issue of bribery in football. The stance taken by Grunsah would mean a no show for the Committee.
