Cape Coast, April 4 GNA - Kumasi King Faisal beat Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs 1-0 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah sports stadium in Cape Coast on Sunday.
King Faisal's victory was made possible through their playmaker, Ben Wilson, who atoned for his earlier miss of a spot kick in the first minute of the game to score the only goal of the match which turned out to be the match winner.
King Faisal parading most of their regular players, made up of Shilla Iliasu, Mohammed Habib, Prince Antwi, Osei Kofi, and Yahaya Iddrisu took command of the game from the kick off but the defence men of Dwarfs worked overtime to contain them until the end of the first half. The visitors resumed the second half strongly and got the opener through Ben Wilson who after collecting a midfield pass drove home a perfect shot to the blind side of goalkeeper, Adamu Musah in the 65th minute.
The best chance for Dwarfs to find the equaliser came in the 75th minute when outside right, Michael Osam, with only the Faisal keeper to beat shot over the bar. 04 April, 05
