Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan is undergoing a separate training at Italian side Fiorentina as he edges closer to first-team action, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
Duncan joined the Viola from US Sassuolo on a six-month loan deal with the obligation to buy for €15 million in the summer.
The 26-year-old enforcer has been out of action since playing 53 minutes for the Neroverdi in their 2-1 loss at Genoa in January but has been passed fit to commence training.
He joined his new teammates in training at the Artemio Franchi ahead of their today's Serie A game against Atalanta, but was made to train separately with the fitness coach.
Fiorentina coach Beppe Iachini revealed on Friday that the Ghana international could make a comeback on February 22.
Duncan netted 1 goal and tallied 5 assists in 13 league games for Sassuolo in the first half of the campaign.
