Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Samuel Akurugu is edging closer to a move to King Faisal in the ongoing transfer window.
The 24-year-old is in advanced talks with the management of the Kumasi based club over his imminent switch.
He arrived in Kumasi last week and has been training with the club since.
The goalkeeper is currently without a club after ending his stay with Japanese lower-tier side Ococias Kyoto .
Akurugu’s contract with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak was terminated by mutual consent after the 2017/18 season.
He will be hoping to provide a solution to the King Faisal goalkeeping problem after the club conceded 27 goals in 14 games in the Ghana Premier League.
