Fully-fit Koffie makes return to New England starting XI

Ghanaian midfielder Gershon Koffie made a return to the New England Revolution starting lineup for the first time since May 21 on Saturday in their 4-1 defeat against Toronto FC.

Koffie lasted 57 minutes on the pitch and was replaced by Teal Bunbury.

This was three minutes after he had picked up a yellow card for unsporting behaviour.

Has had totaled 30 minutes of game time since returning from injury last month.

Koffie is expected to maintain his place in the first XI on Tuesday against Chicago Fire in the US Open semi-final.
