Accra, Nov 22, GNA - The Greater Accra Women Soccer (GAWSOC) knockout competition enters the semi stage on Wednesday with interesting pairings.

Top on the agenda would be the action at the Tema Community 5 Number 3 School Park in the clash involving Nungua Ladies and Atlanta Ladies.

Pundits envisage the game billed for Wednesday, November 23 as a gruelling duel judging from their previous meetings. Though Nungua Ladies look slightly favoured, their opponents, a relatively younger side are fast maturing into a team capable of causing major upset when least expected. On Thursday at the Nungua Town Park, heavyweights of the women's game, Ghatel Ladies would engage Faith Ladies in search of the slot for the grand finale.

Ghatel, winners of previous competitions are one of the frontiers tipped to annex the ultimate.

Parading "dons" like Sheila Okine, Florence Okoe, Miemuna Darko, Aminatu Ibrahim, and young Anita Aminaku, Hamdia Abass among others, the Ghana Telecom ladies are expected to overwhelm Faith with an incredible play on a good day.
