Information reaching sportscrusader.com has it that, the President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, has turned down a request from the officialdom of the Confederation of African Football to lead a delegation to observe the impending Nigerian FA Elections.
According to a close source of Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, the Ghana FA Boss turned down the request from CAF so that he will be able to attend to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry invitation on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Sportscrusader.com understands that the GFA President was out of the country for two weeks to attend a CAF Executive meeting in Addis Ababa and subsequently continued to Zurich for a FIFA meeting.
Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Tuesday to clear the notion that the FA is not ready to appear before the Commission.
