Ace broadcaster and lawyer, Moses Foh Amoaning has accused the adjudicating bodies of the Ghana football association of destroying Ghana local football.

The football association Disciplinary Committee sitting on cases has delayed the start of the new premier season for the second year in succession.

Most of their rulings against certain parties were overturned, and Moses Foh Amoaning believes they are behind the decline of Ghana football because they are not trained to manage.

“Lawyers by our training, we are trained to litigate. Sadly the way we are trained is in the classic British way of advocacy and litigation practice. We don’t train in respect of leadership and management and that’s our problem.

“Lawyers are very bad managers. I know some people won’t agree with me but I am prepared to debate those people. We have badly managed the system.

“By our training we are trained to litigate, we are not managers, we are into legal battles to settle matters or to be Involved in the lawsuit,” the Ghana Boxing Authority boss told Accra-based radio station, Atinka FM.

Moses Foh Amoaning also had words of praise for president of the Ghana Football Association but has challenged him to learn more and also make rules of the game simple for the adjudicating bodies to interpret.

“Kwesi Nyantakyi has done a good job, but there’s a lot we all need to learn,” He said

“Let’s talk about the rules football now. I think rules for football is a bit complicated, the FA have to simplify the rules in terms of the Disciplinary procedure and set targets for them.

“They should get old judges who have time to handle these matters. It doesn’t matter what sort of training you had as a lawyer, you must have your own integrity and your own self-discipline.

“Someone’s case may be different from another and lawyers must interpret in different ways,” He concluded.

The commencement of the new Ghana Premier league season is February 20 after about two months of delay.
