GFA in talks with Safaribet to sponsor GPL next season

Sports betting company Safaribet is in line to sponsor the Ghana Premier League next season.

The popular betting firm are said to be in talks with the Ghana Football Association to become the headline sponsor of the League next season.

This season’s domestic top-flight has been without a sponsor making it difficult for various Clubs to fund for themselves.

Safaribet bet could however become the new title sponsor of the Ghana Premier League according to the firm’s CEO Halit Karabasoglu.

“We are in talks with the Ghana football Asssociation to sponsor the 2016/17 Ghana Premier Leagaue,” he told Ghanasoccernet.

Reports are rife the Sports Ministry have secured a sponsorship deal from an Asian Oil company for the League.
