News creeping in from the folds of the Ghana Football Association indicates that Premier League clubs have been told to disregard the injunction claims of King Faisal football club and go ahead with this weekend’s league matches.
Below is the statement from the Ghana Football Association’s communication directorate:
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) can today confirm that all match-day-1 Premier League matches will be played as scheduled.
Clubs, match-day officials and the general public are to disregard reports in sections of the media that the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League will not kick off on Saturday January 17, 2015 as planned.
