GFA release list of referees for league matches

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the names of referees to handle the 27th week league matches to be played on October 30 and 31 at all the league centres.

African Cup Winners Cup finalist Kumasi Asante Kotoko would trek to Prestea to face relegation threatened Mine Stars and referee Osborn Darko of Berekum would be in the middle with Asoma Amadu and Obeng Manu from Sunyani and Wenchi respectively assisting him on the lines. JE Turkson of Cape Coast will be the match commissioner.

In Accra, Tarkwa based referee E.K. Twumasi would be in the middle of the match between league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak and Okwawu United at the Accra Sports Stadium, with S.K. Baah of also of Tarkwa and Cosmos Oteng from Asankragua as the assistant referees, while C.C. Anderson would be the match commissioner.

Referee J. Laryea and his two assistants Abigail Sowah and M. Pornortey all from Accra would in charge of the match between Goldfields and Bofoakwa at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. Suhum based Ben Nartey would be the match commissioner.

The thrilling encounter between King Faisal and Dawu Youngsters at the Kumasi Sports Stadium would be handled by Bene Wormede of Ho. He will be assisted by I.O.Y. Akrade of Hohoe and M.A. Doku of Ho with Kwaku Manu as the match commissioner.

At Tamale, referee RY Kwabo to be assisted by M.A. Pappoe and JAP Sowah all from Accra would take charge of the match between RTU and Power FC, while K. Duku Doudu of would be the match commissioner.

Referee M. Mohammed, Osei Agyemang and E.D. Aidoo all from Kumasi are the men to handle the match between BA United and Hasaacas at Sunyani. Haruna Fuseini of Tamale would be the match commissioner.

Accra based referees E.N Agyei, Raymond Cudjoe and JK Mantford are the officials for the Maxbees and Aresenals match with the match commissioner as Emmanuel Gyimah also from Accra.

The a local derby between Liberty Professionals and Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday will have Viviene Aggor of Accra.

She will be assisted by A. Oumarou and D.Y. Asare of Tema while Frimpong Manso also of Accra will be the match commissioner.
