But Gargo has now decided to change his mind and will now be joining up with the other foreign-based players for Sunday's game World Cup qualifier against Sudan in Accra.
Head coach, Osam Duodu has also called up Accra Hearts of Oak's striker, Emmanuel Osei Kuffour for the game on Sunday.
Meanwhile, soccers world governing body FIFA have appointed four match officials from Niger and a match commissioner from Egypt for the game. The referee for the game will be Bouchardean Lucien, who will be assisted by Keita Bonkano and Moussa Adamou with the fourth referee being Maiga Mahamadou. Egyptian, Fahmy Baheg Hussien will be the match commissioner.
