The Chairman of the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council, Alhaji Y.A. Ibrahim has denied knowledge of any applications for the post of FA General Secretary since the position has not being advertised.
Speaking to JOY FM, the chairman said, the Council has the mandate to appoint a new general secretary after W.K. Agra’s term ended recently adding that, Mr Agra can still apply for the post if he is still interested.
He questioned claims of applications for the position when it has not been advertised yet and also enquired about the recipients of the applications.
The FA management board is meanwhile yet to confirm when the position would be advertised.
