Former Ghana striker George Arthur will be buried on September 5, family sources have confirmed.
The former Kotoko great died of a suspected cardiac problem while playing draught with friends in Sunyanyi on June 14.
Family sources have confirmed the burial and funeral rite will take place early next month.
“I remember my father when he was dropped from the 1994 nation’s cup squad and the next day he was flown to join his colleagues in camp,” his son George Arthur Junior told Adom FM
” I am inviting the entire GFA, Tony Yeboah and coach Kwesi Appiah to come and mourn with us on September 5.”
“The funeral will be held at his villa in Sunyani with the service starting at 8am prompt.
Until his demise, King George served as the chief executive of BA United at some point.
