Georgido Asked To Refund $170,000 To Kotoko.

The Life patron of Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has asked the clubs former Board Chairman, George Aduse Poku aka Georgido to refund an amount of $170,000 being proceeds from Robert Boateng's transfer to Rosenburg club of Norway.

Reacting to a question on the $420,000 being the transfer fee for Robert Boateng, an ex-player of Kotoko,George Aduse Poku said that he took $170,000 of the amount whilst the remaining was handled by Mr E.K. Adu and Alhaji Balla both ex Board Chairmen of the club

According to George Aduse Poku, he has filed a suit to that effect after the Gbadegbe Report instituted by the President to probe all transfer irregularities in the country found him guilty.

The Otumfuo made it clear that the money was meant for Kotoko and that it should be refunded. He therefore asked Mr Aduse Poku to withdraw the case from the court.
