Get me Patrick Razak - C.K. Akonnor tells Kotoko management

New head coach of Asante Kotoko, CK. Akonnor has asked the Management of the Club to get him Hearts of Oak’s mercurial speedster Patrick Razak.

Akonnor who was outdoored last Wednesday after stepping into the bog shoes of the Kotoko coaching role following the resignation of Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin, did not mince words in his first words to the fans as he has targeted the CAF Champions League or CAF Confederations Cup in the three years he will be spending with the ‘Porcupine Warriors’.

The former Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC, Ashantigold and Sekondi XI Wise coach in a bid to augment his new team has asked the Management to get him Patrick Razak alongside six other players.

Some of the players according to our sources who are on the coach’s list include, Elvis Opoku of Aduana Stars, Liberty Professionals midfielder Simon Zibo.

In a related development, Patrick Razak’s legal adviser, Lawyer Francis Polley has confirmed Asante Kotoko interest in the player.

According to him, Patrick Razak still has a contract with Hearts of Oak but they have spoken to some Kotoko officials about his services.

“Razak still has contract with Hearts of Oak and we respect it. But I won’t disclose the date of expiration of his contract. Hearts has given us an offer for contract renewal and we are considering it”.

“Patrick Razak’s agent has traveled outside and we will decide when she arrives”.

“Some Kotoko officials have spoken to us unofficially and have requested for the service of PR. Patrick Razak is still training with Hearts” Lawyer Francis Polley told Kessben FM
