Ghana Can Overcome Germany and Portugal in Brazil-Marcel.

DSC Arminia Bielefeld dependable right back Marcel Appiah is optimistic group G hard nuts Germany and Portugal will sweat to contain Ghana Black Stars during 2014 FIFA world in Brazil.

In an exclusive interview with Ghana Broadcasting Corporation Regional Fm RadioB.A.R, 25 year old German born Ghanaian said football is a mental game and with the experience from 2006 and 2010 world cup in Germany and South Africa respectively, the senior national team the Black Stars will be a tall mountain for the bookmakers favorites Germany and Portugal .

‘’Ghana should try and pick all the points in their first match against U.S.A which will spur them on when they come againstGermany.Ghana must be well composed on the pitch throughout the entire duration to get the Germans frustrated. Football is not won because you have a lot stars. Ghana have a wonderful team and I think with mental training Ghana can cause a surprise against the Germans and the Portuguese .’’

Marcel Appiah who features consistently for his club says he will grab the opportunity with gratitude if he is given the opportunity to serve mother Ghana in future. Appiah has been to Ghana thrice.
