The international friendly match between Ghana and Canada has been shifted from October 9th to 13th.
The Black Stars were scheduled to take on the Canucks on October 9th at the Red Bull arena in the United States.
Organisers of the game have decided to postpone the match to October 13 instead of the initial date set.
Ghana has already lined-up a friendly with Malaysia in November this year.
The two friendlies will be used as a preparatory ground for the Black Stars in their Cup of Nations and World Cup qualifiers.
Meanwhile, Black Stars winger Solomon Asante has expressed happiness with TP Mazembe’s CAF Champions League semi-final qualification berth.
The 25-year-old excelled in full throttle as the Ravens posted a massive 5-0 win over Moroccan side Moghreb Tetouan last Saturday afternoon.
A hat-trick from Tanzanian striker Mbwana Samatta and a goal each from Zambian Rainford Kalaba and Ivorian Roger Assale sealed a lopsided triumph for the Congolese giants.
The former Berekum Chelsea pint-size wing-wizard feels excited with the qualification and reveals winning the title remains their ultimate target.
“I’m very pleased with what we have achieved so far and especially the results of the game. It says a lot about our quality,” he disclosed.
Asante says winning the Champions League title remains top of their priorities this season.
“It remains on top of our target this season to win the title and that’s why we are fighting all season. We’ll fight to win it,” he added.
